Kansas City Shootout for Soldiers - Unstoppable Protection when it Matters Most: How the Cranksho...

When hosting a high-energy, fast-paced event like the Kansas City Shootout for Soldiers lacrosse festival, safety is priority number one. With non-stop shooting, packed sidelines, and active vendor booths, wild shots and missed errant passes are an inevitable part of the game. That’s where the Crankshooter Pop-Up Backstop completely proved its worth as an indispensable piece of tournament gear.

Heavy-Duty, Instant Safety
Setting up field boundaries and backstops for multi-field lacrosse events can often be a logistical headache, but the Crankshooter Pop-Up design made deployment effortless. We positioned these backstops strategically behind the goals to shield surrounding areas. From high-velocity high school shots to heavy-hitting adult division play, the durable netting absorbed every impact cleanly without tearing, sagging, or tipping over.

Protecting Spectators and Vendors
Our main goal was ensuring that families, spectators, and vendor tents situated near the end lines remained completely safe throughout the festival. The generous coverage area of the Crankshooter Backstop created a reliable protective barrier, preventing runaway balls from flying into crowded spectator areas or damaging vendor displays. Vendors could focus on their sales and fans could enjoy the games worry-free.

Built for Tournament Mobility
Key highlights from our event experience:

Quick Setup & Takedown: Saved our field prep crew valuable time during early morning setup and post-event cleanup.

Exceptional Durability: Handled hundreds of high-speed shots over the festival with zero damage or structural wear.

Peace of Mind: Provided a professional, clean setup that let everyone focus on supporting our veterans through Shootout for Soldiers.

If you are running a lacrosse tournament, clinic, or backyard training session where perimeter protection is crucial, the Crankshooter Pop-Up Backstop is a absolute must-have. It delivers professional-grade safety, rugged durability, and total peace of mind!

Lax Radar

Had a little trouble at first but worked with the team at Crankshooter to get it resolved. Great customer service. We found our unit to perform better when we put it on a different pedestal a little bit higher. Looking forward to our next shooting session.

Old Guy Having Fun

Unit went together fairly easily. Like that it comes with a cover. The Crankshooter is an upgrade over my 30-year-old baseball pitchback. I'm just an old guy having fun playing catch, which this unit does better than a pitchback.
